The Fox Valley Mall in Aurora is buzzing with excitement as a dozen new stores and eateries have opened their doors, bringing a fresh and diverse shopping and dining experience to the suburban community. The colorful array of businesses, 85% of which are minority-owned, were welcomed with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin.

From the tantalizing snacks at Exotic Snack Guys to the exquisite jewelry at GND Gold & Diamonds, there's something for everyone at the mall's newest additions. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of cuisines, from the Island Boy Food Truck's Caribbean delights to the gourmet cupcakes at Molly's Cupcakes.

In addition to the new stores and eateries, the Fox Valley Mall is undergoing a major transformation with the construction of the luxurious Lucca Fox Valley apartment complex. This upscale community will offer residents a range of amenities, including an entertainment lounge, fitness center, and a private outdoor courtyard with a pool and grill stations.

With plans for gaming areas, seating spaces, and even a dog park, the redevelopment of the mall promises to enhance the overall shopping and leisure experience for visitors. Developers estimate that the project will be completed by the spring of 2025, adding a touch of modern luxury to the bustling shopping destination.

The revitalization of the Fox Valley Mall reflects a larger trend of suburban malls seeing a resurgence in recent years, with other shopping centers like Old Orchard Mall and Golf Mill Town Center Mall also undergoing updates and expansions. As the community continues to evolve, the Fox Valley Mall stands out as a vibrant hub for shopping, dining, and entertainment in the Aurora area.
