Our family vacation in Hawaii was unforgettable, thanks in large part to our stay at the Sheraton Waikiki. After a week of relaxation in Maui, we were ready to dive into the vibrant energy of Waikiki. The hotel's beachfront location and stunning views of the ocean and Diamond Head crater made it a perfect setting for our adventure.
Using my accumulated Marriott Bonvoy points, I booked us an oceanfront room with two double beds. The room, though on the smaller side, was newly renovated and comfortable. The highlight was the balcony overlooking the infinity pool, beach, and ocean where we enjoyed our breakfast and observed sea turtles in the water.
The hotel's amenities, including two pools and waterslides, kept our kids entertained while we relaxed by the poolside bar sipping on our favorite drinks. The cultural activities offered by the hotel, like hula and ukulele lessons, provided a deeper connection to Hawaiian culture for our family.
Although we didn't dine at the hotel much, there were plenty of on-site options like RumFire and Kai Market for meals. We found ourselves frequenting Honolulu Coffee for breakfast and treats at The Cookie Corner.
The service at the Sheraton Waikiki was commendable, with friendly and helpful staff like Paul, who resolved a housekeeping issue efficiently. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations, and we left with fond memories of our time in Waikiki.
If you're considering a stay at the Sheraton Waikiki, I highly recommend it for its prime location, family-friendly amenities, and beautiful accommodations. It's a fantastic choice for a memorable Hawaiian vacation.
