The shocking case of a freshman at New York University suing her roommate for allegedly stealing $51,000 worth of handbags and jewelry has captured the attention of many. Fung, a student studying politics and criminology, was arrested on charges of grand larceny after Agapov reported the incident to the police. The lawsuit claims that Fung's mother instructed The RealReal to send unsold items to their home, further implicating them in the scheme.
